Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate company financial planning, and debt
financing, as well as budget creation and management
• Ensure all procedures adhere to GAAP and all applicable
laws
• Manage finance office
• Oversee all forecasting
• Recommend benchmarks to measure the success of company,
divisions, and individuals
• Monitor and analyze monthly realities against budget

Requirements
• Masters degree in finance or accounting, CPA certification,
and at least 5 years' experience in a high-level accounting position
• Proven skills in finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost
control principals including GAAP
• Expertise in automated financial and account reporting
systems
• In-depth knowledge of Federal, State, and New York City
financial regulations, and proven ability to learn same for new
states and countries
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare quarterly
forecasts, reports, and statements, as needed
• Working knowledge of long- and short-term budget forecasting,
rolling budgets, and profitability analysis
• Work requires professional communication (written, verbal)

HR Consultant
Codify HR function for fast-growing, 20-person
communications firm including creating policies, procedures, and
programs. Support company's employee-oriented, high performance
culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and
standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development
of a superior workforce.
Areas of responsibility include departmental development, Human
Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, training
and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development,
and employment.
Responsibilities
• Streamline recruiting and staffing logistics
• Oversee organizational and space planning
• Create and implement performance management and improvement
systems
• Ensure compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting

Requirements

Assistant to the President
We are seeking right hand to president of rapidly
growing firm. Job will be endlessly varied, as you and president
will face all tasks together.
Responsibilities
• Manage schedule of president (heavy meetings and travel),
and make all arrangements for trips and trade fairs
• Research and analyze different kinds of offers, deals,
discounts, memberships, and more
• Research various professional groups, accreditations, and
gatherings, then analyze the potential benefits vs. costs of joining
and/or attending
• Prepare and post employment ads; collect and sort incoming
résumés
• Assist with all aspects of new office space build out,
furnishing, and move, including attending architectural and vendor
meetings, reviewing vendor bids, collecting documentation, and
researching for ideas and offers
• Oversee all Deussen collateral materials, including design
and printing; work with graphic designers, review printer bids,
ensure quality, pursue and negotiate the best prices
• Attend to miscellaneous administrative duties, including
purchasing books and tickets, faxing, scanning, printing, and
burning DVDs
• Research Internet for all kinds of information
• Be of basic IT assistance to the team
• Oversee complex IT issues, including preparing weekly reports
to the outside IT company and supervising its work

Interns

Term
• Spring: 4-5 month terms at a minimum of 16 hours per week

Duties
• Support assigned team with any and all responsibilities;
• Historically, intern duties have ranged from administrative
chores to research, trade show support, writing, event planning
and execution, public speaking, trend forecasting, brainstorming,
attending client meetings, and providing POV.
Pay
